Come to class to clear away anxiety and fear, boost your immune, be playful and have fun!

Laughter Yoga is a wild and wacky class that invites you to step out of your comfort zone. 

We’ll do silly laughter exercises that will…

  • You’ll more easily manifest your dreams!

Laughter Yoga was developed by an internist in India and perfected by The Love Guru (in New Jersey) 🙂 My unique way of teaching this class, which I’ve re-named Healing Laughter Yoga includes spiritual teachings, channeled guidance and heart healings. Come to class to clear your blocks, manifest your dreams and learn an easier, more flowing way of being in the world.

Arrive 10 minutes early to check in and use the bathroom if you want.

Driving Directions: Put 1205 S Jefferson St, Allentown, PA 18103 in your GPS. This is a private residence – Lehigh Parkway (It’s a park) is right across from this house. Enter into the park this way.

Meeting Place:Once you enter the park, drive past the first parking lot (on the right). Then park in the next lot (which is on the left) or the lot on the right which follows shortly after that (everything is close). We’ll meet at the bathroom structure/small building that is in between these two lots. Once we meet, we’ll walk a few steps into an open field and start our class. Bathrooms are fully functional (real bathrooms with running water, not port o potty)

This class happens no matter what the weather is. It’s good for your soul to be outside, so bundle up, strip down, or put on a poncho. Come to have fun! If the weather is terrible, then I will email you about pushing the class to a later time in the day or we will move to nearby location that has a covered pavilion.

If It’s Raining: We will meet at a nearby park that has a covered pavilion. If it is raining, I will contact you in the morning and will let you know that we will meet Cedar Crest Park, Allentown PA instead. Watch your email and text messages if it’s inclement weather. To get to our alternative (rain) location: Put 2802 Honochick Drive Allentown PA in your GPS. Across from this address, at the pavilions and where the bathrooms are, is where we’ll meet. Watch your email and text message for an update if it is inclement weather. If the weather is terrible, your ticket will be applied to the next week’s spiritual talk in the park gathering.

1 person – $40

Pay $20 now to reserve your spot; pay the remaining $20 at the event – cash only.

Day of Event Tickets: $45

Day of event tickets are cash only – bring exact change. Must email before 9AM so I know to expect you.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Late To Class Policy: If you do not make it to class within 5 minutes of class start time, it will be counted as a missed class and no refunds will be given. This policy is in effect for two reasons: 1) classes are small and in some cases you may be the only one signed up. 2) since this is a healing and manifestation class, it’s important that everyone start the class together and not be disturbed by new energy in the middle.

Wear: Whatever you feel comfortable in. Most people wear workout clothes.

Bring: Water. Stuck energy will start moving and water helps clear the body of toxins. You do NOT need a mat. We’ll be standing the whole time. There are NO yoga poses.

Ask your doctor. Make sure you’re healthy enough to partake in physical activity. Laughter Yoga is a gentle exercise/cleanse for your internal organs. You can get winded from laughing; this is good, as it moves stuck energy/emotions. Make sure you listen to your body and rest when needed.

After class. You may feel hyped up with tons of energy and creative ideas or you may feel sleepy and need a nap. Give your body what it needs. This class is a full body workout, plus you received healing, so nurture yourself afterwards. Happiness or sadness may come up. Journal to process your emotions. Sit in silence. Be in nature. Eat nourishing foods. Drink lots of water (to clear toxins and stuck energy that was cleared).

Laughter Yoga Fun Facts! (Scientifically Proven Results)

  • Laughter Yoga was founded by an internist doctor in India.
  • People practicing Laughter Yoga regularly report amazing improvements in their health as well as a more positive attitude and higher energy levels. Laughing creates positive connections in the brain.
  • Deep laughter cures chronic stress! When you’re body is stressed, it releases cortisol. Laughing reduces cortisol levels.  It lowers blood pressure too!
  • Deep laughter causes you to breathe deeply from your diaphragm, which pumps your lymphatic system, and strengthens your immune!
  • Even anticipating laughter can enhance biochemistry. Loma Linda University conducted an experiment with a group of students. Half the group was told they would see a funny video, the other half was not. Both groups had their blood analyzed may times during the experiment. The findings were astounding.The group expecting to see a funny video showed a decrease in stress hormones (cortisol, epinephrine, etc) & an increase in beta-endorphins (chemicals that ease depression) & human growth hormone (boosts immunity).
  • Using laughter as medicine is not a new concept. In the 14th Century French surgeon Henri de Mondeville used humor therapy to aid recovery from surgery. In the 1930’s US hospitals began to bring in clowns to cheer children hospitalized with polio.
  • Norman Cousins, political journalist & author, laughed his way back from a life-threatening illness!
  • A powerful cardio workout! 10 minutes of hearty laughter equals 30 minutes on the rowing machine! It increases blood circulation and relaxes muscles.
