Ever since I was young I was determined to find the "secret formula" on how to find "the One." I was convinced there was a certain way you went about finding "him." The advice of "go out and date a lot"...or "one day you'll just find him" never seemed to make sense to me. It felt so random and disempowering. So I went on my search... I read every relationship book I could get my hands on, I searched out teachers, studied videos...and spoke to everyone I could to get their point of view on the subject. (I figured if I pieced together all the advice that I got, that I'd find my answer) :-)

I continued my studies at The University of Miami (FL) where I took up Interpersonal Communications and Psychology, taking on extra assignments in Nonverbal Communication, Small Group Behavior, Persuasion, and Human Behavior. Through the years I continued to be fascinated with the dating process. Warner Bros TV recognized my talents and hired me to work as a matchmaker on their popular show, "Change of Heart", which was then followed by me being scooped by the top internet dating site, Match.com. At that time I had started my company, Metro Event Planners, which produced unique singles and couples events. Match.com contracted me to plan, produce, and execute their live events in NY and NJ... When I was at the events, I ended up being a bit hit giving the singles dating advice.

This is when my coaching practice unofficially began and I realized that although I didn't have the answer I was looking for all these years (how to find "the One") that others were helped and very grateful for the advice I gave them. Over the years my company, Metro Event Planners has become a dream come true, continuing to evolve into more than I ever dreamt of. Since then my company has expanded into its niche of Bachelorette Party planning. This put me more and more in the Wedding & Love arena...and then Bachelor Party planning.

Over the years that followed, I continued to help thousands be successful in love...all while silently struggling to get MY OWN dating life in shape. I didn't understand why I was able to help so many people and that I couldn't get it right myself. So in June '04 I came up with a fun idea to put a website up to announce my desire to the world - that I was ready to get married and I needed their help. (this story is below). Long story short, my site marryblaire.com became an International sensation garnering press and web coverage from China to Canada, Italy to LA, NY to Africa, Israel to Iceland. Let's just say I get around ;-) I've been featured all across TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers, and the Internet. Over 90 media appearances (and counting...) across 3 continents. MSNBC, CNN, Inside Edition, Glamour Magazine, Jane Magazine, New York Times, Life & Style, The Star Ledger, The New York Sun, WOR 710 AM (NY), WCBS Newsradio 880AM (NY), ABC Radio Network (over 4,000 stations nationwide) and the list continues...

People always ask me.."Blaire, how did you get involved with all of this? When did it all start?" And as you can probably guess, it's always a hard one for me to answer (as the can see, the story is sooo long!).

So I give them the shortened version... Everything I think about and everything I do has to do with love. There's not one point in my life that I woke up and decided that this was what I was going to do in life, as it's always been in my heart and I've always had passion for it. As the story of my journey has unfolded I came to the realization that this has always been my life calling. That I was put on Earth to not only to find my true love, but that I have the ability to heal and help others.

What's the Marryblaire.com Story?

In June 2004 the idea came to me to put up a website (marryblaire.com) posting my profile in search of my life partner. I was done dating for the fun of it and ready to find my husband. For years, I was afraid to tell guys I wanted a serious relationship and wanted to get married, but had gotten to the point that I was sooo frustrated and fed up that I put it up on the website and shared it with the world. I posted my profile, stated very boldly "Do you know my husband?®" and stated that I wanted to get married. I posted some cute pictures of myself, shared my dating experiences, and had guys "submit" themselves, their pictures and profiles for people to vote on if I should give them a chance or not. I was putting my search for the "one" in the hands of others. I was fed up! The website was supposed to be private. Only close friends and family members were supposed to see it...BUT it got out! One of my friends must have leaked it to other friends...and then other friends...and within 1 week I got tons of responses from all over the world from men who wanted to date me, from women who were in the same situation as me, and from press who wanted to cover my story and help me in my search.

Within 2 weeks, I was interviewed live on MSNBC, featured in the NY Times, and in meetings with VH1 talking about having my own dating reality show! People..and the press loved my story. The uniqueness of it all. A Love Expert seeking love. An attractive girl needing help finding a man. A girl boldly stating her goal of getting married to the world.
